· Restored a Fortune 500's flagship wine brand ($350M) to category outperformance after three years lagging the market. Developed its most successful brand platform in 40 years, unlocked a new generation of buyers while strengthening the core, and reversed a compounding cycle of declining share, margin compression, and competitive displacement.
· Led the end-to-end repositioning, revitalization, and re-rating of a $200M vodka brand - from two years dark on media with a 76% budget cut to a premium acquisition by Sazerac in a declining market, with a growth plan that made the brand worth more in worse conditions (lower net sales, down market, structural category headwinds) than it had been in better ones.
· Executed successful turnaround of a stalling early-stage brand acquired 2 years prior and underperforming its growth targets since - inherited with a broken GTM model and without data infrastructure or performance visibility. Built analytics base, diagnosed root causes, prioritized channels, rebuilt GTM, and reallocated investment to high-conversion tactics, driving velocity +40%, capital efficiency +26%, closing gap to plan 70% → 110%, and creating a reusable playbook for scaling regionally dominant, early growth-stage omnichannel brands.
I take pressure-ridden brands, products, and portfolios navigating decline, disruption, or transition and restore relevance, performance, and competitive position.
This means diagnosing the real reasons behind underperformance (root causes, not just the symptoms), architecting the strategies that restore growth, margin, and enterprise value, and leading cross-functional execution through the turnaround, from consumer insight and portfolio strategy to creative relaunch and commercial activation.
1. Stalling Growth or in Decline: Revenue is sliding, relevance is eroding, and the current strategy isn't working. You need someone who's diagnosed and solved this before - at scale.
2. Pre- or Post-Transaction Repositioning and Re-Rating: You're preparing a brand for sale, integrating an acquisition, or restructuring a portfolio.
3. Growth-Stage but Hitting a Wall: The early playbook stopped working. You need strategic repositioning to break through to the next stage, not just more marketing.

I've built, scaled, and revitalized consumer brands and product portfolios in Fortune 500 and high-growth, venture-backed environments, including successfully turning around $5M-$350M category icons and challengers across lifecycle stages.
My specialty is taking brands and products that are stuck - declining, mispositioned, or underperforming their potential - and unlocking their next phase of growth.
I hold an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and built my pre-MBA career in entertainment, including co-founding and scaling Above Average, a breakthrough digital brand and content platform, to the top 1% of its peer set and industry award recognition within a year.
