Step-Up Training & Coaching

Empowering employees to take on stretch roles creates valuable development and exposure opportunities while helping temporarily short-staffed teams stay afloat. My Step-Up enablement program helps rising talent meet new challenges and absorb responsibilities they have not led or owned before — building skills, confidence and efficacy that pay future dividends.


With structured training, coaching and guidance, I set high-potential employees up to succeed and provide essential insurance against what happens if they struggle: discouragement, frustration, eroded confidence, and added strain on those overseeing them.

The Step-Up Program

What Is It?

A PreLief™ alternative for Manager-level coverage or companies that aren’t backfilling gaps due to various constraints, my Step-Up Program levels up and supports internal brand management and marketing talent stepping into stretch roles, absorbing new responsibilities and taking on stretch projects when your team is down a player — setting them up for success while providing a security net to your organization. 


From ramp up planning and next-level skills training, to key deliverable coaching and ongoing 1:1 coaching and mentorship sessions, I systemically equip rising talent with skills, clarity and confidence and give them a safe space and sounding board during a vulnerable growth moment when stakes are high, the learning curve is steep, and support is scarce. 

How Does It Work?

PREPARATION

Step 1 | Connect: Discovery with outgoing manager

Step 2 | Evaluate: Skill assessment + ramp-up plan

Step 3 | Train: 1:1 skills gap training (ex: data analysis, prioritization, comms, executive polish, etc.)


IMPLEMENTATION

Early x High-Touch | Coach: Ongoing 1:1 coaching, including reviewing and providing leadership lens and feedback on key deliverables (briefs, decks, comms, data) 

When Ready x Light-Touch | Mentor: Light touch check-ins, as needed

During my 8-year tenure at Constellation Brands, I developed a reputation for helping elevate talent so they can operate at a higher level independently and sustainably — training in-house teams, coaching and mentoring rising talent, building and scaling models, methodologies and playbooks across the brand management, finance, and various other functions and departments.


I bring this approach and mindset to training and mentoring early-to-mid-career marketers, founders and cross-functional teams looking to stretch into new roles and responsibilities or deepen their brand and marketing muscle. From brand fundamentals and storytelling to data analysis and strategic planning, I tailor trainings and sessions to meet real-time business needs and long-term skill growth and development — leveling up internal capabilities, training individual contributors, and equipping people managers and leaders to build and lead high-functioning, high-performing teams.
